Mira Bodic completed her medical school at the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, and her residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is an alum at the Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Columbia University, where she is currently on faculty. She specializes in Emergency Psychiatry, with a particular focus bringing recovery-oriented care and a trauma informed approach to acute care settings. She is interested in teaching and adult learning, and the interface between healthcare and technology. Mira is the Director of Communications for the American Association of Community Psychiatry, and a passionate dog lover.
